Five Minutes with our Project Coordinator, Matt

March 15, 2019

In the most creative way possible, tell the education world what you do at Digistorm?

Really the projects team are the translators between what the clients want and need, and how the developers are able to meet those requirements.

What do you think is the most significant impact that a Digistorm product has had on the education industry?

I would like to think our products reduce the overhead of paperwork on school staff so they can focus on building relationships with families and delivering the best education for students.

If you could create a new Digistorm product with no limitations, what would it be? Think outside the box!

I think it would be amazing if we could just fill the whole school with our products. I remember a lot of the horrible systems we had to use at school, which wasn’t long ago, and I feel like living in a world of Digistorm creations would be a much better time! It also means systems like TurnItin would die, meaning a generation of students wouldn’t worry about a 20% plagiarism score from the fact “the” is a widely used word.

Who is your celebrity crush?

To be honest, I’m too obsessed with myself to pay much attention to people who are even more obsessed with themselves.

If you could have one superpower what would it be?

It’s a oldie, but it’s got to be flying, not even because of the whole saving people thing, but just because I wouldn’t need to sit in traffic every morning, or ever give Jetstar another cent.

If you could have dinner with 3 people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Honestly I would prefer to have it with some good friends, because the great and the wonderful will likely never live up to what you hope they actually are.
