Digistorm’s journey first began with West Moreton College in 2015, when the school invested in eduAPP. That same year, WMAC asked Digistorm to create a custom website for the school. After successfully launching both the app and the school website, West Moreton Anglican College focused their attention on streamlining their enrolment and admissions process.
WMAC mentioned that they did not have a structure in place which tracked communication between administration staff and parents. Fast forward to 2018, and West Moreton Anglican College have now added Funnel and Enrol to the list.
We decided to catch up with West Moreton Anglican College to find out more about their experience with the Digistorm products, specifically Funnel and Enrol. We spoke to Gayle at West Moreton Anglican College, to find out more about their experience with Enrol and Funnel, and to see if it has aided their working processes.
How did you hear about Digistorm products?
I first heard about Digistorm from our previous Head of Marketing. She had spoken enthusiastically about the company and its products.
How long have you been using Funnel and Enrol?
We have been using Enrol for about 12 months now, and we have been using Funnel since the start of the year.
How many different people at your company use our products?
Other than parents who fill-in the online Enrol forms, I am the only one who manages the system internally.
With regards to Funnel, the school receptionist and I currently use the crm system. We are still relatively new to Funnel and so not everyone is trained on it. In addition to the two of us who use it, I will be training the three sub-school receptionists on Funnel so that they commence using it from the beginning of 2019. Once we are all using Funnel, it will be a lot easier to organise communication between everyone and be kept up-to-date with the progress of our school enrolments and admissions.
How do you and your team currently use the product?
Well Enrol is used to gather information from parents looking to send their children to West Moreton Anglican College. This data gets automatically updated into Funnel.
Funnel will be used so that any one of us can see what someone else is up to with an enrolment. Currently I have fortnightly meetings with the receptionists to ensure that we are all up to speed with what is happening for each enrolment. Using Funnel will save time as we won’t need these meetings.
Would you describe a few of the reasons you decided to buy our product?
Ever since we met the team at Digistorm, we have found them to be extremely helpful and the quality of service provided has been phenomenal. We have enjoyed working with Digistorm and that is a major reason why I would always support using them.
By using our product can you measure any improvements in productivity or time savings?
Yes definitely, it has saved time on regular meetings discussing current updates and tracking conversations that have happened between members of staff and parents. The Enrol forms have dramatically reduced the time it takes in manually entering in data for hundreds of prospective new candidates.
In addition, as the two products work in conjunction with each other, it makes life so much easier as we can find everything we need in one place.
Are you likely to or have you recommended our product to a friend or colleague?
Yes, I already have in fact! Recently, whilst at Educate Seminar there were a few people asking us which system we use to record and track all our enrolments, and I recommended Digistorm to them.
